How are referrals counted?

Answer

Referral is counted if all of the following conditions are met:

1. You sent a referral to your friend
2. That friend downloaded Flock
3. That friend installed Flock
4. That friend logged into Facebook with Flock

Question

I logged out of Top Flockstars and then logged in with a different Facebook account. Why is my info from the first account still showing?

Answer

Due to a session cookies issue, you must log out and perform a hard refresh (Windows: Shift+Reload button or Mac: Command+Reload button) on the Top Flockstars login page. Or simply visit another web page, then go back to the Top Flockstars login page.

Question

When I log out of Top Flockstars and then try to log back in, I get a blank popup. How do I fix this?

Question

I invited a bunch of friends via email and never got any points. What's up?

Answer

Unfortunately due to technical limitations we can't track referrals by email. Stick to your Facebook friends to get points.

Question

Are you going to have other prizes in the future?

Answer

We certainly would like to! Assuming the program is successful, we would like to branch out to bigger prizes and some physical stuff.

I've invited all my friends. What do I do now?

Answer

Well, if you've truly bugged them all and they've all made their decisions, maybe we can find something else for you to do. Shoot an email to hundredpercent at flock dot com explaining how awesome you are.

Do you keep all my personal information?

Answer

Nope, we don't like to be creepy. We only keep your Name/Facebook URL, a list of who you've referred (so we can give you points), and all the stuff related to point receiving and spending. All your info on Facebook about what you did last weekend is safe.

Question

There are some friends that I don't see in my "Friends Using Flock" section OR in the Referral Form. Where are they?

Answer

If you successfully referred a friend that then removed the Flock Application, we put them on a list so that nobody can earn points off of them again. That just wouldn't be fair to us, y'know? If you see a ton of people missing from both lists, it could be a bug. Drop us a line at getsatisfaction.com

How come iTunes and Amazon Giftcards are only available in the 'States?

Answer

Don't blame us, this is how iTunes and Amazon work. We'll try to get some more international prizes up soon!

Why did my friend start with tokens, while I didn't?

Answer

We start people out with some tokens if they have a lot of friends ALREADY using Flock. Clearly you have work to do.

How soon will I get my prize after I submitted the order?

You should have your prize within a week. If you don't get it after a week, let us know at getsatisfaction.com

Top Flockstars Terms

These Top Flockstars Terms ("Terms") apply to Flock's Top Flockstars program ("Program"). By participating in the Program, you ("Participant") agree to be bound by the following Terms. Flock, Inc. ("Flock") reserves the right to modify these Terms from time to time without notice. Please review these Terms from time to time so that Participant will be apprised of any changes. The Program and all use of the Flock browser and services are subject to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy which are incorporated herein by this reference.

Participation Requirements

The Program is only open to United States legal residents, age 18 or older. Participant must be a current Flock user in good standing at all times. Neither Flock employees, nor the employees of its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates or the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of each, nor members of their households or immediate families, are eligible to participate in the Program. THIS PROGRAM IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED.

Referral Procedure

When Participant logs into Facebook using Top Flockstars, Flock will display which of your friends have used or are using Flock as their browser to access Facebook. Participant may invite friends who are not current or prior Flock users to download Flock through the permitted functionality of the Flock website. Flock tracks the people that Participant has invited in this manner, and gives Participant one Flock Token ("Token") for each invitation which results in an eligible invitee successfully downloading, installing and authenticating to Facebook using the Flock browser ("logging in"). Flock's determination of invitee eligibility, logging in status and the like is final, and Flock reserves the right to validate whether recipients are bona-fide Facebook users.

If more than one invitation is sent to an individual that subsequently logs into Facebook using the Flock browser, only one Token will be given. The Token will be given to the sender of the most recent invitation sent to such invitee before they logged into Facebook using the Flock browser. Participant may review how many invitations it has sent and how many Tokens it has accumulated by logging in to the Top Flockstars with their Facebook credentials.

The Top Flockstars Leaderboard will indicate the top producing Participants by user name and associated Token count as a public display. Participant consents to Flock publicly displaying such information for such purposes and sharing Participant's information with the applicable reward item manufacturer(s).

Flock will endeavor to track all referral activity in connection with the Program. Creating Facebook accounts for the primary purpose of obtaining Tokens is specifically prohibited. If Flock discovers or suspects any fraudulent, misleading or other improper activity in connection with the Program, Flock reserves the right to suspend the applicable Participant's access to the Program and/or browser, which may result in Participant forfeiting any related reward items and/or Tokens.

Token Redemption Process

The Tokens have no cash value, are non-transferable, and can only be redeemed toward reward items then-available through the Program. Tokens may be redeemed at the Flock "Rewards Counter" on the browser for various reward items (as permitted through the functionality of the Flock browser).

Certain reward items are only redeemable within the United States. All reward items are subject to additional terms of the applicable reward item vendor. Participant acknowledges that each vendor may apply their own restrictions to redemption, and Flock does not take responsibility for ensuring redemption. All taxes, shipping and handling charges, tips, service charges or any other additional expenses associated with any reward item are the sole responsibility of each Participant.

Earned reward items will be made available to the Participant according to accompanying terms and the contact information that is provided at the time of redemption. Flock reserves the right to change the reward items made available through the Program at any time

Upon termination of the Program for any reason, any unused Tokens that have not been redeemed within ten (10) days thereafter will automatically expire and may not be transferred, assigned, or redeemed for cash.

Flock is not responsible for replacement or lost of unredeemed Tokens or rewards items. Flock may cancel or modify this Program or its terms at any time in its sole discretion. Other restrictions may apply.

Limitation of Liability

Participant assumes all liability for any injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Program. Flock is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether or not caused by Flock, or Participant or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in association with this Program or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions that may limit an Participant's ability to participate in the Program. BY ACCEPTING ANY REWARD ITEM OR TOKEN, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT THE TOKEN AND ANY REWARD ITEM IS AWARDED ON THE CONDITION THAT FLOCK AND ITS AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND EMPLOYEES WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION OR USE OF THE REWARD ITEMS, TOKENS OR THIS PROGRAM. Participant further acknowledges that the foregoing parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee (express or implied, in fact or in law) in connection with the reward items, Tokens, or the use or enjoyment of thereof. ALL REWARD ITEMS ARE AWARDED AND THE PROGRAM IS OFFERED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY SORT, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IF THE MANUFACTURER OF THE REWARD ITEMS OFFERS A WARRANTY, PARTICIPANT IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE TO SEEK WARRANTY SERVICE DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER.

General Conditions

Flock reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Program if not capable of completion as planned, including without limitation, by reason of unavailability of reward items, infection or compromise by computer virus, bugs, robotic entries, tampering, unauthorized intervention, force majeure, corruption of the administration, security, or other technical failures of any sort. These Terms set forth the entire agreement, and supersede any and all prior agreements of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof.
