Flock 2.5.1 is available today from the Flock homepage. This release fixes the Flickr issue I mentioned in my previous post as well as several other issues.
You will have to manually update to 2.5.1 at this time by downloading and running the 2.5.1 installer from our homepage. We'll be pushing out auto-updates as soon as we've had sufficient time to test the auto-update process across all platforms (don't worry: manual updating is quick, safe, and clean). Please make sure you restart your computer after installing 2.5.1.
Thanks to all of you who brought this issue to our attention. As always, if you experience any issues in the future, please don’t hesitate to let us know by posting to our GetSatisfaction page. We’ve always got our ears on.
Our endless appreciation goes out to you for your patience during this period.

Any projections for the next major release built on top of Firefox 3.5's engine? I'm a die hard Flockstar but the new functionality and standards support for CSS3 and HTML5 in FF 3.5 are definitely factors in my browsing expereience and development work.
Thanks for all you guys do...Flock is still a fantastic product and I enjoy sharing it with my friends and colleagues.
I must be very dense, but I can't find the 2.5.1 link on your homepage ... please can you give a little more guidance?
I'm new to Flock, but am gradually getting to enjoy its capabilities more and more. Thanks to all of you.

I love what you guys are doing, can't wait until its based on the Firefox 3.51 engine. Also an added bonus would be if it were compatible with Zone Alarm Force Field.
I had to switch back to FireFox. you guys take too long to update to the newest firefox base. If a vulnerability is discovered, itll take tyou 2 weeks to patch. sorry too slow.
@a1newspapers @dispy457 @Chris Brown: No news since my last post - we continue to keep an eye on the mixed reports of 3.5 issues in the field. When we feel confident about moving our community to that code we'll do so, but we don't want to rush you onto something that isn't stable.
@Tricia: The main download button on the homepage will serve up 2.5.1 - we usually don't put the last numeral on the button because it is a bit ugly and technical-looking for new visitors.
@KRomeleoN: Flock 2.5.1 brings us up to the latest security patch, and I believe there were only a few weeks in which Flock wasn't updated. If not for 2.5.1 being already in progress with numerous fixes, it would have been out in a shorter time. We don't work any slower than Firefox on this front.

I absolutely adore Flock. I've been going nuts not being able to use my Flickr account with it for a month - THANK YOU SO MUCH for fixing it!
You guys rock. This is the best browser.
Can I request just one more miracle?
Can you possible add border and watermarking abilities to your photo uploader? It's already so fantastic, but that would be so amazing to have. In your spare time, of course. LOL

Since I updated to 2.5.2 (which isn't the above.. typing in twitter continue's to type slow or crash flock. Crashes or stops typing in that window and when I hit the back button to correct an error it goes to the previous page erasing my tweet. Here I am plugging Flock because it's easier to use twitter and the update messed twitter up.

I like Flock, but have to stick with FF3.5 as I run Ubuntu jaunty & Adobe Flash does not work on Flock, have even tried uninstalling Flash & re installing , but all to no avail
@SAied: Shoot me an email and I can try to troubleshoot your slowness issue
@Newbie2Flock: There are other important updates included, so you should indeed upgrade.
@Rizka: Flock is 100% free.
@Lee Bartholomew: Shoot me an email and I will try to help you troubleshoot your issues!
@Bob Hutchins: if you have the time I recommend digging around on www.getsatisfaction.com/flock. I know others have had issues with Flash in Flock on Linux, and I think they have posted some workarounds.

I used flock in the past as was very satisfied with how it worked, but out of no where it gives me problems and it wont let me in. It is also a bit slower than firefox, so I hope these issues can be address.
Can't to install the latest version, to the developers keep up the good work. This product is really a bang for zero buck. Thanks and God bless
