I love Flock but I feel that there are still a lot of issues that need fixed, I have seen a lot of Linux users with similar problems so I thought I would create a list.
Please vote for your specific issues, so the developers know what needs fixed plus what distro you use.
My Distro – Ubuntu 8.04
For me its just the following 4 issues, with point 1 and 2 being MAJOR.
1. “Install Missing Plugins” : This option is 99% broken, the only one it actually installs without failing to find the plugin is Flash. Is it possible to fix this or bundle the most used plugins with the Linux download? Flash, Java, totem player etc...
2. Twitter and Facebook Status Area : This box is FAR TO SMALL, you can only see the upper parts of each letters. Can you increase the height of this box so we can see what we are typing.
3. Ubuntu Repository Link : I know Flock downloads the latest versions automatically, but a nice link we can add to our repository to get all the latest updates would be cool. Also this will make installing easier for some folk (the users who don't just run the .flock file from the folder)
4. Sidebar (Facebook & Twitter) : The messages are always displaying like "text here..." if they are very long. Can you fix this so they use 2 lines or more if needed.
I hope this helps the developers know what needs to be fixed on the Linux versions, keep up the fantastic work :)
