Flock Crashing

I've been using Flock for about 2 months and love it. I have everything I want right there.

Today I have been online for a couple of hours doing nothing unusual. i blog, so mostly just catching up and commenting. all of a sudden flock crashed. Now I can't open. It opens for about 5 seconds and shuts down.

I don't remember what version i am on, I can't keep it open long enough to tell you. I can't remember the last time I upgraded to a newer version, but I haven't in at least a week or two, so what is happening today is completely out of the blue.

Any suggestions?

Never mind...since no one is answering anyway.

I went from one file to another replacing and deleting out of my prfolie folder. I found that my problem stopped after I deleted the "Lucene" folder.

I am using version 1.2.4 on XP SP3 and flock keeps on crashing every few minutes with the error message "Faulting application flock.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module js3250.dll, version 4.0.0.0, fault address 0x00032347." I have the following add-ons installed: Delicious Bookmarks 2.0.95; DownloadHelper 3.2; Fleck 1.2.2; Google Global 2.0.1; Google Notebook 1.0.0.20; PicLens 1.8.0.4133; Save Session 1.3.1.5; ScribeFire 2.3.1; SearchStatus 1.26; SEO for Firefox 2.8.1; StumbleUpon 3.26; Thirty Day Challenge Toolbar 1.5.43.0; TwitterBar 1.0. Please help as this is getting extremely frustrating. Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Same here on both my desktop and laptop.
After upgrading to SP3, Flock keeps on crashing.

Can you try disabling your PicLens add-on? Other people have reported that Flock crashed because of it:

"PicLens causes Flock 2 beta to crash"
"Flock 2b1 and add-on trouble"

If you disable PicLens and Flock still crashes, try disabling some of your other extensions until things are working.

It is a new installationof Flock. No add-ons or themes in place.
Most of the time, it crashes when I click on hyper links, such as
* Google search result
* Reply buttons of newgroups
I have completely removed Flock and reinstalled. Same issue.

Hi alexso66,

Thanks for letting us know. When you removed Flock, did you 'check' the box to remove the profile folder as well?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Yes. I did remove the profile when I unintalled the old version.

I also tried installing Flock 1.2.4 onto a new PC with just Windows XP Professional SP3 (32-bit), same thing happens.

Flock 2 Beta seems to work better. No crashing so far.
