Cannot Save Photos on Right-Click

This happens to me on Firefox as well. It's actually what made me switch to Flock because it was annoying the hell outta me. Everything was working smooth on FLock til about 2 weeks ago. Every time I right click on a photo and click "Save Image As" the box opens for me to choose where to save it and I click save. But when I go back to the folder thru My Documents or wherever I put it on my computer...it's not there. I've even saved to the desktop over and over and it will not save anything. I end up having the resize Flock and drag the photo to the desktop I'm trying to save.

Any suggestions at all? PLEASE...this is driving me nuts!!

Did you try pressing Ctrl+J (Downloads window) and using the Open link? Also, in the Options under Main is where you can define the download folder.

I have the same problem. Save image doesn't work. When I open the download window it is always empty. Seems to be a few of us with this problem, anybody got some hints?
What this means is that we have to have another browser installed, so in case we want to save an image, we use e.g. firefox. I love flock, but this is driving mr crazy. PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback guys, sorry to hear about this problem. We haven't been able to reproduce this issue on Mac or PC using Flock 1.1.1. I'm just wondering if all of you are using the latest version of Flock (1.1.1)? If not, let's see if the upgrade fixes this issue and we'll go from there.

Please let me know so we can get this fixed!

Thanks for choosing Flock!

For the time being, if you open the folder you want to save images in, left click the image, and drag it into the folder, it will save. But that still doesn't help with the other files I want to save. Hope this helps some.

I found something that worked, especially concerning Firefox and not being able to right click and save images. I'm not sure why it works but try this. Do a search for 'downloads.rdf.' It should show up in a longer menu starting with C:\Documents ad Settings\blahblahblah. Anyway, once you find it, open it with Notepad or Wordpad (remember to UNcheck the 'Always use this program to open these files' option,) delete all the script inside it, then hit 'Save'. Apparently it has a tendency to get a bit bunged up when it gets too full of crap. It worked for me, so I hope it does for you.
