Where is a business

Hallo

I've been just participating today in conference in Poland - speaker Zbigniew Braniecki...

Unfortunately there was no "questions panel" afterwards...that is why i'm addressing it by this form...

It's been said about the "Community" and "Open Source" and "Free of Charge"... product... and i'm just wonder how it is possible to work for free and product anything for free...

The point is that, i think, none can devalue commercial product just for that it is commercial, as it was said.

Gandalf said that the browsers and portals have not changed for years. And it is not given us what we want. Especially that we are attacked by commercials.

But who said it is wrong? And who does not understand it? Everyone has to earn for bread. And how You, Zbyszku, can say about all these things in such way of comfortable passion to young people ? You earn, that is why You live... Foundation is given You the comfort of work. Butt pleeeaase, do not say so stupid things to young minds...

Let's take an example from conference. 1% of people is creative, 10% is helping, 89% is just viewing. And you want to address your vision to this 11%. But also, Gandalf, You are saying, that your vision is to share the informations amoung the friends and family ? how is that ? Even if they use internet, they are most often in 89% part of target people. So there is no benefit for anyone...

I'm afraid, You create the web TOOL that rather will make the chaos deeper than reduce it...

Zbyszku, You would never said what You actually said if your position is not stable. Pls do not treat the audience as stupid one cause You are becoming more media advocate than real person that has a vision I could believe in.

Pls no offence and answer me on amer at tlen dot pl. I'm realy curious about your real idea not the product behind it.

kindly rgdrd

I don't get it, some people just don't have the brains for business.

How does Facebook make profit? It's free to join and use, so whre's the profit? In API's and adverts. For example. Facebook/Photobucket, it doesn't matter. So if a marketing company is ready ta pay substantial money to buy e-mails, why wouldn't such a web-based company that earns it's revenue through marketing, share some of it with the company that, through social-friendly interface and integration, provides the said web-based company with more users and more traffic?

I thought that was simple reasoning? Just by clicking Google AdSense link, someone makes money. If I'm that company, why not share a little of that profit with the guys that bring trafic to my AdSense website?

I had this Flock thingy on my mind as an idea for several years now, but I didn't know how to make it. Still don't :) That's why I make money as tech support, I know how to use and fix things, not make..
