Anyone tried Google Gears with Flock to browse Google Reader offline?

Google gears doesn't work with Flock. I installed Google gears and it works fine with IE &FF, but the "offline/online" icon does not get enabled in flock. I haven't seen if I need to copy any file from FF folder to Flock folder.

The integration is up to Google if they want to include Flock support in that extension.

I've converted the Firefox version to an extension that works with Flock. You can get it here.
(You have to download the extension and the open it from wherever you downloaded to.)

Too bad this fix doesn't work for the beta :( As gmail is 'integrated' into flock, I'm hoping google gears will be compatible, especially since it is compatible with FF3, off which the beta is based.
