It's good to back up your Flock profile from time to time. Errant extensions, beta versions, or profile corruption do cause issues with Flock occasionally, and being safe is always better than being sorry.
To backup your profile, close Flock and then simply copy the folders listed below to another location:
Mac OS X:
The profile folder is in a folder named "Flock," and you'll find it on this path:
(your home folder)>Library>Application Support>Flock
Linux :
~/.flock/browser/
Windows 2000 and XP:
C: -- when you are in the C drive please look to the left hand side. There you will see "System Tasks" and please choose "Show the Contents of this Drive". That way all of the hidden data should show.
-- from there go into Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Flock\Browser\Profiles\[random number].default\
Windows Vista:
C:\Users\[your login profile name]\AppData\Roaming\Flock\Browser\Profile
Flock stores all your personal settings, such as bookmarks, passwords and extensions in a profile. The profile is stored on your hard drive in a profile folder. The profile folder has a weird name -- a string of eight characters followed by ".default"; for example, "942ur3pf.default". Here's where to find it:
