After several weekend days and late nights we have fixed a very pesky memory leak. If all goes wellwith our QA and Mozilla's 1.5.0.7 patch stays on schedule (it is currently scheduled to ship on September 12)we'll have a 0.7.5 patch ready with a few other minor bug fixes, including being able drag and drop photo BBCode from the photobar, early next week.
For those interested in the details of the memory leak read on. Aspart of Flock's enhancements to the search box, allowing one to searchthe full text of browser history and favorites pages, we do a lot ofcontent indexing. We discovered several locations in Flock's web pageindexer that were leaking small amounts of memory on each pagerequest. Over a long browsing session, hundreds of page requests wouldcause these small leaks to add up and create a bloated Flock processsize. This effect became very pronounced with sites that made heavyuse of DHTML or Ajax techniques, and constantly loaded content in thebackground to provide the user with a more dynamic experience. Gmail isone such site as well as Meebo, a web based instant messaging client.
A couple of things caused us to move this to early next week. Mozilla moved the date back for their patch to Tuesday and, while we believe we have a good fix, we still need to do some testing to make sure we didn't break anything else. If you're feeling brave you can grab the latest developer builds from Flock's tinderbox.
Believe me when I say that we understand this is really impacting some users that we are treating this with the necessary urgency.
I'm sorry, the gdata api is not implemented yet. It will be done for sure in the next major release, but we don't know yet if it will be available for 0.7.
Note that it still works for non-beta blogger blogs.

That's great news! I've had some problems with the memory leak issue particularly with Digg.com (AJAX-based).
Flock on.
You may be older than epoch Mr Dosik, but these news are surely really good! :)
Great news, thanks! ... can't wait.
