Not a dolphin

Manish comes to Flock from Oracle, where he was part of the Linux Projects team. Everything his team produced is open source and can be found at oss.oracle.com.

Manish has worked on the GIMP since 1997, and was a project maintainer for the latter half of the 0.99.x series, until version 1.2. He has also contributed to glib, gtk+, and pygtk.

He has lived in California nearly all his life.

Manish's favorite thing is a sport: "Wild game hurling. Mainly with moose. In which you hurl a moose from a skyscraper onto a padded mattress."

As a self-described geek, Manish likes to spend his free time hacking on various projects, though he considers movies to be a fun diversion. But his overall feeling about free time is, "What free time? I work for Flock! ;)"
