Erwan was born in Paris but raised in Brittany, a rainy region of France that has the highest rate of "French navy" stripe shirt per inhabitant.

After his graduate school in Nantes, he moved to Japan where he was having fermented soy beans for breakfast every day. Thanks to this healthy diet, he received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tokyo Metropolitan University.

He is now a happy resident of the Silicon Valley, where he can enjoy the sunny weather and fermented soy beans from the numerous Japanese supermarkets of the region.

Erwan is the primary contact for the Flock Developer Community, and runs the Flock satellite site, developer.flock.com.
