IT Team Lead
Daryl's from Tennessee, but -- contrary to popular belief about southerners -- he's not married to his sister. He learned that that was inappropriate while he attended college at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he studied English literature and writing. Interested in the blossoming internets while in school, he learned basic HTML and perl and got a job in the computer science department, where he supported professors who could push nanoparticles around and design complex graphics algorithms but couldn't figure out how to open a spreadsheet. He hasn't done support since. Instead, he continued to hone his web chops and has done primarily web development out in the real world.
Daryl met his wife on the internets completely by accident and, with no plans after college, moved to Tennessee to be with her. They've been together ever since and have a cat, a dog, and two brilliant, lovely children.
In his free time, Daryl reads big fat strange books and plays with his kids.
